Members voted to change the DEGIFS name to DEGIRS in October 2008.
The name change was officially approved by APEGBC council March 2009.
Currently www.degifs.com and www.degirs.com will bring users to the division of engineers and geoscientists in the resource (formerly forest) sector website.
www.degirs.com is the new url.
The website text will be updated to reflect the name change over the next several months.
