Description: This is the opening presentation at the 2005 APEGBC-DEGIFS stream of presentations.
The Forest Practices Code was intended to provide for the sustainable use of BC's forests. This prescriptive based approach is now transitioning to the new results based forests and Range Practices Act, and mny parties wonder if governments's commitment to sustainalitiy is consistent with this new model.
